Binding otherwise solid. Moderate edge wear to cover; leather chipped & torn at head of spine.. Interior clean, fairly bright, with light to moderate scattered foxing. Engravings faded and foxed. Family genealogy section shows numerous entries beginning with Ephraim G. Barr marrying Harriet A. Ball in 1852 and the births of several offspring including Frank, Marshall, and Edward. Other marriages recorded include Frank A. Barr to Cynthia Freeman (no date), Marshall D. Barr and Elmira M. Watson in 1878 at Spencer (MA), and Marshall D. Barr and Jessie M. Leggat in 1887 at Montrose. Earlier births recorded on following pages starting with Hiram and Sally Barr, both in 1791.
